Sofas
I worked with multiple clients that required high-quality renders for their sofa/chairs collection.
One of the client required multiple variations(materials and colors), with over 7000 images delivered.
Other client was interested in quick prototying to create unique models with different variants to explore different design choices.
For large batch of renders I developed a procedural rendering system that made it easy to configure process any combination of models, colors and materials.
Some models were created from scratch, based on references, other models started as CAD files, which had to be rebuilt to high-resolution meshes. I have fixed geometry, UVs, added missing details(piping, stitches) and used cloth simulation to give realistic shape to fabrics.
An automated scene assembly system handled camera placement and framing, ensuring consistent composition across all variations. The pipeline generated organized, properly named outputs, ready for client review and delivery.
Additionally, I produced an animation sequence showing the transformation from old, worn fabric to new upholstery, highlighting the brand’s craftsmanship and attention to detail.
